Bi-Annual Maintenance

Our bi-annual maintenance service is designed to support the ongoing operation of your system through scheduled seasonal inspections. This service helps identify potential concerns early and supports consistent system operation. Maintenance visits are preventative in nature and do not eliminate the possibility of future repairs. Regular service contributes to informed system care and long-term planning.

Heating Maintenance

During a routine heat pump or furnace maintenance inspection, our technicians will perform the following:

  • Clean system coils as needed
  • Conduct a visual inspection of the heat exchanger to check for corrosion, cracks, or loose connections
  • Inspect the backup resistance heater (when applicable) to ensure proper operation
  • Verify system operation, including temperature output, thermostat readings, heat rise, and proper changeover between heating and cooling modes
  • Replace the customer-provided air filter

If you would like us to supply the filter, please let us know the filter size when scheduling your appointment.

Cooling Maintenance

Our cooling maintenance service includes a thorough inspection and performance check of your system:

  • Perform a visual inspection of the unit to identify any areas that may require attention and evaluate overall system efficiency
  • Inspect the air filtration system to ensure it is effectively reducing dust and allergens
  • Check refrigerant levels and inspect the coils; an outdoor coil rinse is always included
    • According to dist.gov, improper refrigerant levels can significantly reduce cooling efficiency
  • Inspect all blower components and address any minor issues that may impact performance.
  • Replace the customer-provided air filter

If you prefer that we provide the filter, please share the filter size when scheduling.

Repair Recommendations Estimates

If any repairs are recommended, we will provide a clear and transparent estimate before any work is performed. We believe in upfront pricing, so there are no unexpected fees or add-ons.

If more extensive repairs are needed beyond what we have time for on the day of the visit, your technician will work with you to schedule a follow-up appointment at a time that is convenient for you to complete all repairs.
